Closing arrangement for packaging sleeves cuts a closing clip off a pre-shaped clip wire (5) and deforms the closing clip. The clip wire is fed by a driven feed lever (11) in a feed channel (6) into a cutting and closing tool. The feed end of the feed lever for attaching to the clip wire is formed by a plastic part or a rotating element, especially a roller or ball. Independent claims are also included for alternative closing arrangements. Preferred Features: The feed lever has at the end a recess defined by two protruding tongues in which a U-shaped plastic cap (17) is arranged which forms the end for attaching to the clip wire.
