The mounting device for light shafts (4) on building walls (1) has at least two protruding anchors (5) on the side facing the wall and which fit into mating anchor sleeves (3) in the wall. When using plastic light shafts the anchors and anchor sleeves on sides facing each other go into a clamp connection when one fits into the other. The anchors and the anchor sleeves on facing sides may have protrusions and recesses which when fitting of the anchors into the anchor sleeves inter-engage.
