APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING WIDTH OF HOUSING OF COLD ROLLED STRIP STROBOSCOPE

PURPOSE: An apparatus for controlling width of housing of cold rolled strip stroboscope is provided to improve operation efficiency and prevent drop of output and safety accident by performing forward and reverse motor control according to variation of set width and width change of the housing to automatically control width of the housing. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises front and rear stroboscope control means(1,2) for controlling lighting of the surface of cold rolled strip according to voltage signals corresponding to frequencies of control volume; lighting housings comprising lighting operated according to control of the stroboscope control means; motors for rotating the front and rear stroboscope control means forwardly and reversely; front and rear housing moving means at both sides of which the lighting housings are respectively installed, and which adjust width between the two housings by moving the left and right housings according to forward and reverse rotation of the motors; a resistance conversion means(6) for converting rates of change of width of the left and right housings into resistance; an R/I conversion means(7) for converting resistance by the resistance conversion means into current; a PLC (programmable logic controller)(8) for providing width information of the cold rolled strip; a D/A conversion means(9) for converting width signals by the PLC into analogue signals; a distribution control means(10) for controlling width control of the housings according to the comparison results after comparing reference value by the D/A conversion means with feedback values by the R/I conversion means; a motor forward and reverse sequence means(11) for controlling forward rotation and reverse rotation of the motors according to control of the distribution control means; and an indication means(13) for indicating the feedback values by the R/I conversion means.
