The present invention relates to a regenerating composition for lead-acid batteries containing per 1 liter of 40 percent hydrogen peroxide aqueous solution 1 to 70 ml of sulfuric acid with density ranging from 1 to 1.32 g.cme-3, 0.1 to 10 g of saccharides in dry matter and/or aldehydes or derivatives thereof, 0.1 to 10 g of acid sodium and/or potassium carbonate and/or at least one hydroxide being selected from the group consisting of alkali metal hydroxides in dry matter, and it further contains 0.1 to 20 g, preferably 0.5 to 2 g of dinaphthyl methane disulfo acid disodium salt. The invented regenerating composition can further contain 0.1 to 10 g of peroxoborate and/or tetraborate and/or sodium pyrophosphate in dry matter. |
