摘要 PURPOSE: A system for detecting and preventing clogging of submerged entry nozzle is provided to prevent clogging of the nozzle and early detect clogging of the nozzle, reduce clogging of the nozzle and improve quality of products accordingly by controlling flow of molten steel in the nozzle according to change of molten steel flow. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises first mold level sensor(6) for detecting surface level of molten steel at one point inside a mold(3); first signal processing part(21) for outputting first detection values and output operating values after processing the signals detected by the first mold level sensor; second mold level sensor(9) for detecting surface level of molten steel at other point inside the mold; second signal processing part(22) for outputting second detection values after processing the signals detected by the second mold level sensor; a level deviation comparison part(23) for outputting a deviation value (E=L1-L2) between the first detection values and the second detection values by comparing first detection values of the first signal processing part and second detection values of the second signal processing part, and providing an output variation according to a grade of the deviation; a computer unit(24) for judging whether the submerged entry nozzle is clogged or not according to the deviation value outputted by the level deviation comparison part, and warning clogging of the submerged entry nozzle if the submerged entry nozzle is judged to be clogged; and a servo amp(25) for controlling operation of sliding gate(5) according to output operating values of the first signal processing part and the output variation of the level deviation comparison part.
