PURPOSE: An avatar service device is provided to spread an avatar concept mainly used on the Internet to a mobile communication network, and to display an avatar on a mobile communication terminal, so that a user of the mobile communication terminal can enjoy use of the mobile communication terminal with the avatar. CONSTITUTION: The first data communication portion(211) receives an avatar of a subscriber, and receives a number of at least one mobile communication terminal that transmits the avatar. A data storage(215) stores the avatar and the number of the at least one mobile communication terminal that transmits the avatar. The second data communication portion(219) transmits data through a mobile communication network. A controller(213) transmits the avatar to the mobile communication terminal according to the stored number through the second data communication portion(219).
