PURPOSE: An auxiliary apparatus and a method for engraving a pattern on a spherical surface are provided to uniformly form the pattern on the spherical surface by using a short blast process. CONSTITUTION: An auxiliary apparatus for engraving a pattern on a spherical surface includes a working table(1), a position adjustment section, and a rotating section. The working table(1) has a frame(3) formed at a center thereof with a working space section and formed at both sides thereof with coupling holes. The position adjustment section has an adjusting member inserted into the coupling hole of the frame(3), and a fixing member(33) for fixing a spherical member(100) positioned in a hollow section. The rotating section has a rotating member(13), a rotating plate(61), a guide section and a guide plate.
