The inner sole arrangement is for a shoe or boot and has an electrically conducting resistance wire (42a) or a laser with electrical conduits connected to it which via an electrical coupling unit (6) are couplable to battery poles (7). The battery coupling (6b) creates a heating current through the electrically conducting wire. The shoe or boot (1) is suitable for a hiker or mountain bike rider. The resistance wire or layer is formed to incorporate in each case two separate electrical circuits (42a,43a), each of which via a coupling device (6b) is connectable to the battery poles. The circuits are capable of producing a resistance value corresponding to heat development.
