The machining centre has a horizontal working plate (10) supported by a machine tool stand (2). A work piece support (20) for a work piece (21) fits on the working plate. A machining head (30) accommodates a machining tool (29) and is mounted on a vertical machining column (32) that can pivot around a vertical axis (37) by a rotary plate (36) arranged under the working plate and integrated in the machine stand. A first carrying arm (34) supports the machining column and is fixed to the rotary plate at the other end and guided over the working plate so that the machining column can be pivoted around the working plate. A holder device has a bearing (33) that is arranged above the machining head when the rotary plate axis is extended and supports a second carrying arm (35) that is joined to the machining column. |
