The proposed device for protecting electrical equipment of transformer substations and high-voltage power transmission lines contains a three-phase transformer with a primary winding connected according to a star circuit with a neutral wire and a secondary winding connected according to an open delta circuit, inductance coils in the circuit of the neutral wire and the circuit between the terminals of the secondary winding, a shunting switch with a control unit and a shunting resistor, a grounding switch with a control unit and parallel grounding resistor, a single-phase voltage transformer, current transformers, and additionally, a switch in the circuit between the neutral wire of the three-phase transformer and the grounding circuit, with a control unit and series grounding resistor, and a switch in the circuit between the neutral terminal of the capacitor bank of the transformer substation and the grounding circuit, with a control unit and series circuit containing an inductance coil and a resistor connected in parallel to the coil. The voltage transformer is inserted between the grounding circuit and the neutral terminal of the capacitor bank of the transformer substation. One of the current transformers is inserted in the circuit of the primary winding of a voltage transformer in the insulation testing circuit of the transformer substation.
