A method of growing gooseberry varieties taking roots badly includes preparation of cuttings, growing the stocks, grafting the plants, growing the grafted young plants in a nursery. The gooseberry varieties taking roots badly are grafted onto berry bushes, taking roots well. The grafting is carried out close to the soil surface, and the young plants are planted at the permanent growing place with deepening the grafting place by 7-12 cm.
