The lighting device, particularly for shop windows, comprises at least two profiled pieces (1,2,3,4) capable of receiving different kinds of lighting components (22,37,47), permitting different geometrical configurations. At least one of the profiles is formed in two parts, presenting lugs (12,21) between which components can be clipped. The profiled pieces have sliders (23,27,32,42) enabling them to engage in one another. Each profile presents its own components for the adjustment of light intensity. The device has a casing (8) inside which all the profiled pieces are fitted. On the rear face of the casing are switches (84,85) and variators (81,82,83) for controlling the different lighting components contained in the profiled pieces.
