The display device includes a pair of substrates that face each other, a spacer formed on one of the pair of substrates, a resin to fix one end of the spacer adjacent to the other substrate to the other substrate, and first and second particles of different colors and different electric characteristics all sealed in the inner space formed by the pair of substrates and the spacer.
