This invention relates to heat engineering, in particular to the units for heating water in systems of heating buildings, and for hot water supply in common with obtaining electric current at heat-power plants. The appliance for heating liquid has heat generator with inlet as injection branch pipe and two outlets for the hot and relatively cold liquid flows, pump for compression of liquid and power unit for the pump. As power unit one uses the engine equipped with cooling shell, heat exchanger for air coming for burning together with fuel heating, and pipeline connecting the outlet of the relatively cold liquid flow to heat exchanger, with cooling shell and with outlet for hot flow of the heat generator liquid. At that as engine one uses the combustion engine or co-generator. This invention makes it possible to decrease cost price of the hot liquid obtained and to make combined production of heat and electric power.
