The invention relates to a safety device (1) for a motor-driven boat with the object of preventing that the boat leaves a person that falls overboard. The safety device (1) is intended to be attached at the boat and comprises a lifeline (5) that at one end thereof is attached to the boat such that it can be pulled out and that at the other end thereof can be connected to a person on the boat. The boat is equipped with a motor (M) to propel the boat and the lifeline (5) is functionally connected to the motor (M) in order to affect the motor (M), at a predetermined position of the lifeline (5), so that the motor (M) is shut off and/or disengaged. The invention also relates to a boat provided with safety device (1). |
