The invention relates to the devices for removal of aerosols from ventilation air, which contain the compounds of chromium and other acid-base compounds, and can be used in metallurgical, machine-building, chemical and other branches. A device for air cleaning contains a housing, a filter cell made in the form of cells of prismatic form, which are covered with a filter material, and sprayers. The device is equipped with a diffuser and convergent tube, the cells of filter element are quadrangular and fit closely to each other by lateral edges, the face of cells, which are directed to the side of the diffuser, are covered outside by filter material, and the face of cells, which are directed to the side of convergent tube, are covered inside by filter material, in the diffuser the sprayer is mounted, nozzle of which is directed toward the filter cell, and the regenerating sprayer is mountedabove each cell, nozzle of which is directed toward internal surface of cell. Furthermore, the ratio of the length of the faces of cells, which are directed to the side of converging nozzle section, and the length of the faces of cells, which are directed to the side of diffuser, makes 1.5 ? 2.5. The invention allows to ensure the increase of removal of aerosols from air and simultaneously to achieve regeneration of filter material without breaking the mode of filtration of the device.
