A heat engine has a heater, as a source of infrared radiation, an installed in a housing, by means of a holder, a springy heat working element, as a cylinder with the first and the second elastic strips, those are pressed one to another, made circular, of material with contrast with respect of one to another coefficient of thermal expansion, those are arranged as one piece or with domain, or discrete structure; turned to radiation heat-sensitive layer, the output control chain is installed with possibility of interaction with the side surface of the cylinder; the ends of the strips are rigidly fixed in the base of the cylinder. Additionally the engine has a cooler, the cylinder is made as a hollow pipe, or with thermo-insulation filling, additionally it includes the first thermo-insulation layer, at the side of the second elastic strip. The source of infrared radiation as made as a pulse one. The thermo-sensitive layer and the cooler are connected to the end parts of the elastic circular strips at the opposite sides of those, respectively.
