PURPOSE: An indoor unit of air conditioner is provided to easily open, close, attach and separate a suction grill. CONSTITUTION: A connecting device connects a suction grill(30) to a main body to be opened and closed and includes connecting members(40) placed on both of inside of the suction grill and having protrusive hinge axis(43); joining grooves(50) placed on both sides of an upper part of the main body for joining the connecting members and having guiding devices(51) guiding insertion of the hinge axis and elastic supporting parts(52) elastically supporting the hinge axis; and fixing devices placed between the connecting members and inside of the joining grooves to keep opened or closed condition of the suction grill.
