PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce molding shrinkage without lowering the resistance to boiling, transparency, colorability, and mechanical strength by bonding an alkylsilane compound and/or a coupling agent to the surfaces of polymer particle cores. SOLUTION: A vinyl monomer having one vinyl group per molecule is (co) polymerized, and the (co)polymer is pulverized to obtain polymer particle cores having an average particle diameter of 10-100μm and a relative standard deviation of 30% or smaller. An alkylsilane compound represented by the formula Rn SiY4-n (R is an alkyl; Y is a hydrolyzable group; and n is 1-3) and/or a silane coupling agent represented by the formula (XR)n SiY4-n (X is a functional group reactive with either the resin contained in an FRP or the solvent for the resin; R is an organic group; and Y is a hydrolyzable group) is adhered to the surfaces of the cores in an amount of 0.01-5 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. the cores. The cores are then heated to bond the adherent compound thereto. |
