PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an impact resistant resin composition which is excellent in color hue, the property balance between impact resistance and stiffness, and the like. SOLUTION: This impact resistant resin composition comprises 10-95 pts.wt. of a copolymer (A) comprising 20-100 wt.% of an aromatic vinyl monomer, 0-60 wt.% of a vinyl cyanide monomer, 0-80 wt.% of a (meth)acrylate ester monomer and 0-60 wt.% of other vinyl monomers copolymerizable with these monomers, and 90-5 pts.wt. of a graft copolymer (B) formed by polymerizing, in the presence of 5-80 pts.wt. of a rubbery polymer, 95-20 pts.wt. of a monomer mixture comprising 10-100 wt.% of an aromatic vinyl monomer, 0-50 wt.% of a vinyl cyanide monomer, 0-80 wt.% of a (meth)acrylate ester monomer and 0-60 wt.% of other monomers copolymerizable with these monomers. The resin composition can be obtained by continuously adding and blending the graft copolymer (B) which has been produced by emulsion polymerization and subjected to dehydration and drying, to the copolymer (A) in a molten state which is under continuous bulk polymerization. |
