CORROSION-PREVENTIVE METHOD AND STRUCTURE OF STEEL PILE FOR HARBOR

PURPOSE: A corrosion-preventive method of a steel pile for a harbor is provided to extend the life of a steel pile by preventing the corrosion on the submerged part of a steel pile and by protecting against external impact. CONSTITUTION: The corrosion-preventive method of a steel pile for a harbor comprises the steps of: manufacturing cylindrical steel protective covers(3,4) correspondingly to the length of the submerged part of a steel pile(1), and applying watersoluble ceramic anticorrosive paints on the inner and outer planes; installing a hanger on the outside of the steel pile(1) to fix the protective covers(3,4); fixing the protective covers(3,4) to the hanger; fixing a sealer(13) between the lower end of the protective covers(3,4) and the steel pile(1); and injecting insulation sealers(13) containing anticorrosive agents between the steel pile(1) and the protective covers(3,4).
