PURPOSE: Impact-absorbing structure of a hood panel for a vehicle is provided to safely protect a pedestrian by making a hood bumper sufficiently absorb impact energy when a pedestrian bumps against a hood panel. CONSTITUTION: Impact-absorbing structure of a hood panel(1) for a vehicle comprises a hood bumper(13) located between the hood panel and a radiator support member(2), to prevent the hood panel from colliding with the radiator support member and to support the hood panel when the hood panel is closed. Two mounting brackets(10) forming a mounting part(10a) are installed to the radiator support member, at a predetermined interval. The ends of an elastic member(11) are fixed to the mounting part of the mounting bracket. The hood bumper, the top of which comes in contact with the bottom of the hood panel, is installed to the center part of the elastic member.
