摘要 PURPOSE: A substrate glass composition for a plasma image display panel is provided. The glass composition increases a deformation point and a transition point and has a lower liquid temperature than a molding temperature and high viscosity at a liquid temperature and low expansibility. CONSTITUTION: The substrate glass composition contains 51.0-63.0wt% of SiO2, 0.5-4.9wt% of Al2O3, 3.0-8.0wt% of Na2O, 3.0-9.0wt% of K2O, 4.1-9.0wt% of MgO, 0.5-2.9wt% of CaO, 7.0-16.0wt% of BaO, less than 1.9wt% of SrO, 0.5-9.0wt% of ZrO2, less than 1wt% of SO3, and less than 1wt% of Sb2O3, wherein the total content of Na2O and K2O is 8.0-13.0wt% and the total content of MgO, CaO, BaO, and SrO is 18.0-25.0wt%. And the substrate glass composition has a deformation point of 580deg.C or higher, a transition point of 610deg.C or higher, and a thermal expansion coefficient of 80-90x10¬-7/deg.C at 30-350deg.C.
