PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring automatically a withstand voltage of an armature molding shaft is provided to enhance productivity by performing automatically a withstand voltage test. CONSTITUTION: A step conveyer(1) is used for transporting an armature-molding shaft in a predetermined step interval. The armature-molding shaft is loaded on a V-shaped loading plate(3). A gripper(5) is installed at a top part of the V-shaped loading plate to transfer the armature-molding shaft. A horizontal gripper transport unit(7) loads the gripper on an insert alignment unit(9). A withstand voltage test unit(13) tests a withstand voltage. An insert unit(11) inserts the armature molding shaft into a test hole of the withstand voltage test unit. A withstand voltage decision unit(15) decides the generation of pin holes of the armature molding shaft and an electrical insulation characteristic. A clamper(19) draws the armature-molding shaft to the longitudinal direction. A horizontal insert change unit(17) changes an insert position to a clamp position, alternately. A separation plate(21) is used for separating the armature-molding shaft by moving the horizontal insert change unit.
