PURPOSE: A spool support structure for a spinning reel is provided to prevent the holding member from being rattled, and to rotatably mount a spool on the spool shaft. CONSTITUTION: The spool support structure for a spinning, which rotatably mounts a spool on the spool shaft moving back and forth in a reel body, includes: bearings(56,57), arranged on the inner circumferential portion of the spool; an annular member(20), arranged in the state that its movement towards the rear of the outer circumference of the spool shaft is limited; a cylindrical holding member(70), which holds the bearings(56,57) on its own outer circumference, has the spool shaft mounted in a non-rotated manner in its own inner circumference, is contacted with annular member(20) with its own rear end, and pressed towards the rear by the spool; and a nut member(80), for fixing the holding member(70) with the annular member(20).
