HOME NETWORK SYSTEM AND OPERATING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A home network system is provided to enable a user to press a recovery button when a failed state cannot be recovered owing to a functional failure of a home server configuring the home network system, thereby recovering user data and a system of the home server. CONSTITUTION: A home network system comprises as follows. A home server(100) internally controls plural home appliances(H1-H3) connected to a home network. A portal server(200) remotely controls and monitors the home network by connecting with the home server(100) through an Internet network(I). A data managing unit(300) periodically transmits data stored in the home server(100) to the portal server(200) so as to automatically recover the stored data in case the home server(100) has a functional failure, and manages a data backup function.
