ACCOUNTING SYSTEM IN WIRELESS INTERNET SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: An accounting system in a wireless Internet system and a method thereof are provided to perform an accounting process in accordance with packet usage of each user based on data packet usage measured by a wireless access point, thereby reasonably carrying out the accounting process between a user and a service provider. CONSTITUTION: An accounting DB(42) stores a UDR(User Data Record) supplied from a wireless access point(20), and stores a CDR(Charge Data Record) by user. An accounting processor(41) generates the CDR for accounting according to packet usage of the users based on the UDR transmitted from the wireless access point(20). An authentication server(50) authenticates wireless Internet access of a user terminal(10). A service providing server(60) supplies a data packet corresponding to a service requested to the authenticated user terminal(10). A connection device(70) connects the wireless access point(20) with the Internet(30).
