PURPOSE: A hot water distributor having a bypass function and a method thereof are provided to operate a boiler with an individual mode by separating operations of the boiler and a controller. CONSTITUTION: A boiler(10) heats water. A hot water distributor(60) comprises a hot water supply pipe, a hot water return pipe and a bypass pipe. The hot water supply pipe distributes and supplies the heated hot water to a heating area. The hot water return pipe recirculates the supplied hot water through the boiler by returning to the heating area. The bypass pipe circulates the hot water through the boiler by integrally installing in the hot water supply pipe. A temperature controller of each room(50) receives switching signals to switch control valves of the hot water supply pipe and the bypass pipe. A distributing pipe controller(40) guides to pass the hot water through the heating area by converting a button signal of the temperature controller of each room to an electric signal and controlling a valve of a distributing pipe and opens the bypass pipe by controlling the bypass valve when every valves of the distributing pipe is closed. Thereby, the installing efficiency is improved.
