The method involves closing a calibrating circuit and linking an injection unit with a measurement unit through a source to be calibrated. A test signal is injected from the injection unit to the source. The test signal amplitude and phase is measured by opening the circuit to a level of the source and injecting the signal from the injection unit and measuring the amplitude and phase of the signal presented in the measuring unit.
