PURPOSE: A roll rod mounting bracket and a control method thereof are provided to improve driving experience by reducing shock in starting the engine or at large displacement with pressing an elastic bush by a pad operating by an actuator. CONSTITUTION: A roll rod mounting bracket is composed of a first boss(13) installed in the rear parts of an engine and a transmission mounted in the vehicle body by inserting an insulator, and connected to the transmission to connect the transmission to the vehicle body, and a second boss(15) connected to the vehicle body. An elastic bush(21) is inserted between an inner pipe(17) of the second boss and an outer pipe(19), and a pad(23) is placed at the side of the elastic bush to press the elastic bush selectively. An actuator(27) is connected to the pad by a rod(29) to press the elastic bush of the pad in starting the engine or at large displacement.
