PURPOSE: A method for upgrading software of a wireless mobile terminal and a method therefore are provided to transmit a destination address to a software upgrade server, and to change an initial image file to generate an image file upgraded in a memory, thereby upgrading the image file by a delta file received from the software upgrade server. CONSTITUTION: A mobile terminal requests and receives information on a software upgrading from an upgrade server, and confirms a neighboring block to store a DLL(Dynamically Linked Library) code(405). The mobile terminal transmits a destination address to the upgrade server(410). The upgrade server retrieves a target file necessary for requested upgrade software, re-links the target file, and forms a DLL based on the destination address(415). The re-linked DLL is transmitted to the mobile terminal(420). The mobile terminal re-programs a flash memory, and stores the re-linked DLL file in a memory starting from the destination address(425). The mobile terminal indicates the destination address to execute the re-linked DLL code(430).
