LIQUOR OF POMEGRANATE AND METHOD FOR PREPARING THE SAME

PURPOSE: Liquor of pomegranate and a method for preparing the same are provided, which pomegranate liquor has improved taste by reducing the acidity and useful properties of pomegranate such as skin beauty improvement and fatigue recover. CONSTITUTION: The method for preparing the liquor of pomegranate comprises the steps of: (a) extracting pomegranate with alcohol or water for 2 to 10 weeks; (b) cooling and filtering the extract of pomegranate at -4 to 4 deg. C; (c) distilling the filtered solution under reduced pressure of 70 to 150 mmHg or atmospheric pressure; and (d) adding water or alcohol to regulate the alcohol concentration of pomegranate liquor to 2 to 20 wt.%, wherein carbonic acid may be further added into the pomegranate liquor in the amount of 1.7 to 2.8 wt.%; and fructose, sugar and citric acid may be further added into the pomegranate liquor.
