METHOD FOR CONTROLLING PLAYBACK ON INTERACTIVE OPTICAL DISC DEVICE

PURPOSE: A method for controlling playback on an interactive optical disc device is provided to efficiently perform a control operation according to user's request by discriminating/defining the operation states of the interactive optical disc device linking/playing the A/V(Audio/Video) date and the contents of an optical disc, and the contents provided from a CP(Contents Provider) server. CONSTITUTION: The video data read from an I-DVD by a DVD engine and the ENAV(Enhanced Navigation) contents data read from the I-DVD by an ENAV engine or provided from the CP server are played. A still image is output by pausing the video data and the ENAV contents data are played. A playback operation of the video data is stopped and the ENAV data such as AD(ADvertisement) contents data are played. The video data are played and the user's key input from the ENAV contents data is monitored. The video data are stopped and the user's key input from the ENAV contents data is monitored.
