Container/dispenser having a dispensing head (2) with a channel (3) and outlet (4) for a product expelled from a reservoir (1) by a piston (5) that can be connected to an actuator. The reservoir has a hollow tubular body (10) closed by end plugs, and is made from a synthetic or plastic material providing the necessary barrier and sealing properties. In a variant the reservoir can be in the form of a blister closed by a seal or membrane.
