PURPOSE: An automatic water tank cleaner is provided to automatically wash a wall of the water tank by stably fixing the cleaner corresponding to the height of a water tank through a multi-stage ladder and lifting a brush within the length of the multi-stage ladder. CONSTITUTION: An automatic water tank cleaner comprises a main body(100), a supporting device(200), a washing device(300) and an operation controller. The supporting device comprises a relay typed multi-stage ladder(210) to be folded/unfolded vertically by combining with the main body, a folding device to fold/unfold the ladder and a damping member(214) absorbs shock when the ladder is reached to the ceiling of a water tank by installing in the highest of the ladder. The washing device comprises a lift(310) to lift the multi-stage ladder lengthwise by a lifting device(320), A brush assembly(330) to wash the wall of the water tank by installing in the lift, a washing water supplier(340) to supply washing water to the brush assembly and a position return spring to push the brush assembly toward the wall of the water tank by including between the lift and the brush assembly. The operation controller comprises a main control unit to be embedded in the main body, a sensing switch to sense the touch of the damping member to the ceiling of the water tank and to transmit the signal to the main control unit for deciding a stop position of the ladder by installing inside or near the damping member and a highest position sensor and a lowest position sensor to stop the brush assembly in the highest position and the lowest position by detecting the approach of the brush assembly in the highest position and the lowest position and transmitting the signal to the main control unit. Thereby, an unmanned washing is possible, accidents are reduced and the operating efficiency is increased.
