A gastight joint is formed between the connecting conductor (4) and the connection end (5) of the pin (3) over a given length of this end of the pin. The connection is formed between a fixed part and a removable part of a power cable for an electrical appliance. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing the connecting pin arrangement.
