PURPOSE: A slim typed ODD(Optical Disc Drive) is provided to apply for a slim propensity of a portable terminal such as a notebook computer by preventing or minimizing the increase of a thickness in spite of a multifunction product. CONSTITUTION: A tray(100) is equipped with a spindle motor(110) rotating an optical disc(D) and an optical pickup(120) sliding on the optical disc. The tray is installed/slid on a lower case(200). A main control board(160) controls an operation of the ODD. The lower case comprises the first frame(210) making one side of the tray slide by supporting the tray, the second frame(220) making another side of the tray slide by supporting the tray, and the third frame(230). The third frame installed to a lower part of the tray and the main control board connects the first and the second frame by comprising a thinner plate than the first and the second frame.
