The method of assembling and binding logs involves forming a parallelepiped assembly with binding straps around its periphery. The peripheral straps are connected to horizontal cross straps at the same level. The horizontal straps can be elastic and form loops. The straps are positioned along a tool which is placed around the logs which can be supported on a palette and the straps can be temporarily held on uprights during filling.
