YOLK-RELATED PROTEIN AND APPLICATION THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substitution method of a conventional measuring system of an environmental hormone disruptor by detecting vitellogenin by providing a new female-specific yolk-related protein (YRP) derived from Oryzias latipes and an antibody against the protein. SOLUTION: The female-specific yolk-related protein derived from the Oryzias latipes has substantially 460 kDa molecular weight measured by gel filtration, and substantially 130 kDa molecular weight measured by dodecyl sodium sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. The antibody against the protein, and various kinds of immunological measuring methods of the yolk-related protein by using the antibody are also provided. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
