PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt chuck of a friction coefficient measuring apparatus capable of using an endless belt as it is without complicating the apparatus itself. SOLUTION: An insertion groove 2 in which a prescribed region of the length direction of the endless belt 8 is freely inserted is formed in a housing 1. The housing 1 is provided with a fastening means for sandwiching and immobilizing the endless belt 8. inserted in the belt insertion groove 2, in its thickness directions. The fastening means has a pressing plate 3 operable so as to move to the outside which is provided for the belt insertion groove 2 or a recession part 22 communicating with this. The endless belt 8 is sandwiched by the pressing plate 3 and a constitution wall of the belt insertion groove 2 opposed to the pressing plate 3. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
