PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective method for evaluating atopic dermatitis therapeutic agents. SOLUTION: The method for evaluating the atopic dermatitis therapeutic agents includes a step for applying a therapeutic agent candidate and hapten to a model animal not simultaneously but in any order and determining the quality of the therapeutic agent candidate according to edema reaction in the skin tissue of the model animal; a step for applying a therapeutic agent candidate and ovalbumin to a model animal sensitized with ovalbumin not simultaneously but in an arbitrary order and determining the quality of the therapeutic agent candidate according to eosinophilic infiltration reaction in the skin tissue of the model animal; and a step for applying a therapeutic agent candidate and retinoic acid to a model animal not simultaneously but in the arbitrary order and determining the quality of the therapeutic agent candidate according to mast cell increase in the skin tissue of the model animal.
