PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press-in inspection method of components for straightly pressing in male components or female components while they are being inclined, and can inspect dimension failure in the external dimensions of the male components or the internal dimensions of the female components simultaneously with the press-in. SOLUTION: In the press-in inspection method of the components, the male components 10 and the female components 20 are pressed in, and dimensional failure in the external dimensions of the male components 10 or the internal dimensions of the female components 10 is inspected. First, a piston 2 of a cylinder 1 for pressing the male components 10 or the female components 20 is moved with pressure being lower than a normal one, the amount of travel A' in the piston 2 in that case is measured and is compared with the standard amount of travel A at a low pressure. After that, the piston 2 is moved by the normal pressure, the amount of travel B' of the piston 2 in that case is measured and is compared with the standard amount of travel B at a high pressure.
