PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation method of pump barrel piping of a storage tank in which pump barrel piping can be assembled in the storage tank even in a large-scale storage tank. SOLUTION: The installation method of barrel piping for a pump barrel of the storage tank is provided with a preparatory process for preparing the barrel piping having a horizontal shaft center on the bottom plate in the storage tank and an arrangement process for connecting to one end of the barrel piping a first string-like object hung from a nozzle installation position which is an installation position of a nozzle when installing the nozzle on the roof and to the barrel piping a second string-like object hung from a frame movable on the bottom plate. In addition, the installation method includes a lifting process for pulling the first string-like object upward while adjusting a position of the frame so as to arrange one end of the barrel piping directly below the nozzle installation position and an erecting process for erecting the barrel piping having a vertical shaft center so as to be disposed directly below the nozzle installation position.
