摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform digging work of soil on the downward side of an existing pipe by operation at a position remote from the existing pipe by an operator and having sufficient digging capability in simple and lightweight device constitution. SOLUTION: An under-pipe digging system comprises a self-traveling vehicle 90 having a hydraulic drive source travelling on ground; a grasping mechanism for grasping the existing pipe 1 by oil pressure supplied through hydraulic piping 70, a hydraulic hose 10 and the like from the hydraulic drive source mounted on a hydraulic shovel 3 for instance; a digging mechanism for digging the soil on the downward side of the existing pipe 1; and a pipe jacking mechanism for jacking an under-pipe digging device 4.
