PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ratchet wrench greatly reducing mutual wear of sliding surfaces of a shank and a member contacting with the same. SOLUTION: The shank 32 of a rotating member is contacted to friction material 70 made of sintered copper alloy to avoid contact with an annular retention part 20b. Wear amounts of the shank 32, the friction material 70 and sliding surfaces thereof are extremely reduced compared with a conventional one by making the shank 32 contact to the friction material 70 made of sintered copper alloy. Consequently, drop of friction of the shank 32 is prevented and fastening and loosening work of a bolt or the like is carried out stably over a long period of time. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
