<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability of electronic journal in an automatic transaction device. <P>SOLUTION: This automatic transaction system is constituted of a cash automatic transaction device ATM and a host computer 100. The ATM executes transaction such as money reception/payment from an account according to the operation of a customer, and records transaction contents such as an accounting number and money reception/payment sum or the like as electronic journal in a journal recording part 206. This electronic journal is transmitted to a host computer 100, and managed in a journal data base 104 in the host computer 100. The electronic journal is managed by the ATM and the host computer 100 so that even when any abnormality such as the lost of data is caused in either of them, the electronic journal can be easily restored. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
