POLYIMIDE RESIN ENDLESS BELT AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyimide resin endless belt which does not give rise to a disturbance in fixed images etc., due to surface condition and a method of efficiently manufacturing the polyimide resin endless belt.

SOLUTION: The polyimide resin endless belt with a fluororesin layer formed on the outside surface of a polyimide film is characterized in that a plurality of minute projecting parts are formed on the surface of the fluororesin layer and that the projecting surfaces of the projecting parts are formed as aspherical surfaces. The method for manufacturing the polyimide resin endless belt is also characterized by including a fluororesin layer forming step of forming the fluororesin layer by immersing a core body formed of either a polyimide resin or a polyimide precursor film into a dispersion containing at least fluororesin powder of a large grain size and fluororesin powder of a small grain size and pulling up the core body after the immersion.
