摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a call management system whose operability and availability are enhanced. SOLUTION: Each of a self and the other private branch exchangers is equipped with a gate keeper, each gate keeper controls a predetermined control zone. Communication is conducted between the self and other gate keepers in response to an inquiry from a communication unit of each control zone. In a call management system conducting call management, at least the self private branch exchanger or the self gate keeper comprises a distribution acceptance/rejection information storing means, a distribution acceptance/rejection determining means, and an immediate response means. Then, when an additional service cannot be provided as a result of deciding, the immediate response means sends back a service distribution rejection response signal based on the determination result to the communication unit of the transmission source of a service request signal without waiting for a response from other gate keepers or other private branch exchangers.
