PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera module capable of positively adopting the technique of shading correction even in a lens incorporated camera module and correcting the fringe darkening by an arithmetic processing with an electronic circuit. SOLUTION: In the lens incorporated camera module, a lens, an image sensor and an image processing circuit are incorporated. The image processing circuit is provided with a correction means for correcting the light intensity corresponding to the pixel position of the image sensor by using a value for which a distance from the center axis of an optical system including the lens is squared for a correction value. A multiplier 9 constituting the correction means inputs the distance X from a horizontal center and calculates X<SP>2</SP>, and a multiplier 10 inputs the distance Y from a vertical center and calculates Y<SP>2</SP>. The calculated X<SP>2</SP>and Y<SP>2</SP>are inputted to an adder 11 and the square value R<SP>2</SP>of the distance from an optical axis is calculated. Then, a correction coefficient B1 is obtained by multiplying a coefficient A1 with R<SP>2</SP>in the multiplier 12 and the limb darkening is corrected by the correction coefficient B1.
