PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the speed of an analysis by reducing the variation width of a parameter, and to decrease the maximum output voltage without needing high voltage accuracy. SOLUTION: This power supply for an ion guide used for introducing ions generated by ionization by an atmospheric pressure ion source into a high-vacuum analysis system is provided with a control means 20 for making both parameters of the amplitude and the frequency of a voltage supplied to the ion guide variable to set both the parameters to optimum values according to the mass number of the ions to be passed.
